Introduction / Overview:
This support article explains how to set up and build microsites / additional guest pages for your events.
Microsites / additional guest page allow you to create a centralised information hub for your event that can be easily updated as information changes, enhancing your guest experience by giving them all the information they need in one place.
Microsites / additional guest page can either be tied to a specific event that lives within Sponsorworks or created as a standalone site without guest registration links.
Activation & Set-up:
To create a microsite you must have an event in the platform
Steps / How-To:
1. To access the microsite builder click into 'edit' your event
2. Click on the 'Guest Pages' tab
3. Scroll down to 'Additional Guest Pages' and click the 'Manage additional guest pages' button
4. Click 'Add web page' to start building your microsite
5. If creating a microsite that isn't tied to an event registration, toggle the 'do not show registration link in menu' button.
Adding Web Pages
1. Add a page name - The page name is displayed in the left-hand site navigation bar.
2. Add a page title - The page title is displayed in the title of the browser tab (Tip: if you don't want to display anything at the top of your page, enter a space into this box).
3. Select which ticket types can view the page you are building.
4. Click 'Create page'
From this page you can rename your pages by clicking on the hyperlinked page name, delete pages you no longer require, sort them into the order you want them to appear in your left-hand navigation menu and create the content within them by clicking on the page button highlighted below.
Creating Page Content
1. Drag and drop the elements on the right-hand side onto your page to start creating content.
2. Use 'Columns' to design aesthetically pleasing design elements.
3. Optionally, add HTML to your pages to create more complex designs.
Previewing your Microsite
1. Within the microsite builder, use the eye icon (highlighted below) to preview what your content will look like across different devices.
2. Alternatively, save your page content and head back to your event and click 'Guest preview'
3. Select 'event site' from the drop-down menu at the top to bring up your microsite.

Q: Can I build a page specifically for one ticket type?
A: Yes! When adding a new page you can choose which ticket types can see that particular page.
Q: Can I add HTML code to my microsite?
A: Yes you can. Whilst the microsite builder is a comprehensive no-code tool, if you wish to you can add HTML code to the pages.
