You can set capacity limits on dropdown fields in your guest registration fields! This means you can restrict how many guests select a particular option.
How to Set Capacity Limits
-
Navigate to settings > lists > guest registration field settings.
-
Choose a dropdown field or create a new one.
-
Toggle ON “Enable Capacity Limits” for the field.
-
For each dropdown value, enter the maximum number of guests allowed.
-
Use a whole number.
-
Use 0 if you want no limit on that value.
-
-
Choose what happens when a value reaches its limit:
-
Disabled with (FULL) label (default)
-
Hidden from the list (if selected)
-
What Guests Will See
When a guest opens the registration form:
-
The system checks how many people have already selected each dropdown value.
-
If the number of active guests (statuses: not yet invited, invited, registered, admin approved) meets the limit:
-
The option appears as “guest field (FULL)” and is unselectable.
-
Or is hidden, if you chose that setting.
-
If all options are full, the guest will see a red message at the top:
“Sorry, registration is suspended because all options for [field name] are full.”
