Promoting events on the home page

Maximise ticket utilisation by promoting events with remaining tickets

It is possible to promote events at the top on the home page, which can be useful if you want to ensure uptake of particular ticket allocations.

You can promote:

• Between 1 & 3 specific events
• X upcoming events (nearest by date)
• X most recently added events (by added date)
• X upcoming / recently added events from a particular category

Configuring promoted events

To enable event promotion on your system  visit Settings > Preferences > Event Promotion and then check the box labelled Enable event promotion. 

Once you have enabled this feature a range of options will be presented with a dropdown menu providing options on which events you would like to promote. This enables for you to control what is promoted from specific events to entire categories. 

Once you have selected the promoted events, click the Update Now button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
