Making the most of the welcome page

What is the welcome page?

The welcome page is an optional introductory that appears to all users before the user home page loads, where they can browse assets by category.

This screen can be used to promote recent changes on the site, for example when new events or assets are upload or a new commercial partnership has been agreed.

Activating the welcome page

The welcome page is activated by visiting Settings > Preferences > General Settings.

Once activated, it will be shown to all users on next login (to preview you it you will have to log out and back in).

This will be shown to users every time they login unless you active the Enable users to permanently dismiss welcome page setting. 

Managing the welcome page content

To edit the page content, visit Settings > Messages > Standard Pages & Key Messages > Welcome Page Content. 

Images can be embedded into the welcome page content to add visual appeal. Refer to the article on Uploading images for use in pages and email templates.
