Introduction / Overview:
The Guest Theme feature allows you to apply custom branding to all guest registration pages and public guest websites associated with a specific category or sub-category of events.
This article outlines how to enable and configure a custom guest theme, which elements can be customised, and what defaults are used when no custom theme is applied.
Activation & Set-up:
Step 1: Access Theme Management

Click Edit Category (or Edit Sub-Category).

Navigate to the Guest Theme tab.
Step 2: Enable the Custom Guest Theme

Tick the checkbox: Custom guest page theme

Click Update at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
Once enabled, the full theme management interface will become available for customisation.
Steps / How-To:
Step 1: Upload Branding Assets

Logo: Upload a logo file to display on the guest page.

Logo Position: Choose between Left or Centred placement.
Step 2: Configure Header Settings
Choose one of the following:

Header background colour
-
Header background image
Then customise:
-
Header background colour (if selected)
-
Header link colour
Step 3: Customise Microsite Menu & Button Styles
You can now customise the following UI elements individually:

Microsite hamburger menu button background colour – the background colour of the hamburger icon (shown on mobile or with collapsed menu navigation).

Microsite menu/button text colour – the colour of the navigation menu text.

Microsite menu/button background colour – the background colour of the navigation menu.

Microsite menu/button text hover colour – the text colour when a user hovers over a navigation item.

Microsite menu/button hover background colour – the background colour when hovering over a navigation item.
Step 4: Customise Guest Registration Button
These settings define the appearance of the button shown when a guest registers for an event:

Registration button background colour

Registration button text colour
Step 5: Configure Body Settings

Action bar background colour
-
Body link colour
-
Choose between: Body background colour or Body background image
Default Branding (When No Guest Theme Is Applied)
If no guest theme is configured at category or sub-category level, the guest pages will inherit styling from the master company theme.
To update the default company branding, go to:
Settings > Preferences > Edit Company Theme
