Guest Theme Setup Guide
Overview
The Guest Theme feature allows you to apply custom branding to all guest registration pages and public guest websites linked to a specific category or sub-category of events.
This guide explains how to enable and configure a custom guest theme, which elements can be personalised, and what default styling applies if no theme is set.
Activating & Configuring a Guest Theme
Step 1: Access Theme Management

Go to your event Category or Sub-Category settings.

Click Edit Category (or Edit Sub-Category).

Navigate to the Guest Theme tab.
Step 2: Enable the Custom Theme

Tick the checkbox: Custom guest page theme

Click Update at the bottom of the screen.
Once saved, the full theme configuration interface will become available.
Customising the Guest Theme
Step 3: Upload Branding Assets

Logo - Upload a logo file to display on the guest page.

Logo Position - Choose to position the logo on the Left or Centre of the header.
Step 4: Configure Header Styling
The header is the top banner of the guest page, where your logo sits. You can personalise this area using either a colour or an image.
Select one of the following:

Header background colour, or
-
Header background image
Then customise:

Header background colour (if selected above)

Header link colour - affects any links displayed within the header.
Step 5: Configure Registration Button
These settings control the appearance of the registration button guests click to accept or decline the invitations:

Button background colour
-
Button text colour
Step 6: Configure Body Styling
These settings apply to the main content area of the guest page:

Action bar background colour
-
Body link colour - sets the colour for any hyperlinks on the page.

Body background - choose either a solid background colour or upload a background image
If Using Additional Guest Pages (Microsites)
Some events may use additional guest pages (e.g. microsites). If you're using these, you can further customise the navigation styling.
Step 7: Customise Microsite Menu & Button Styles
These settings affect how the menu and buttons look across the guest microsite:

Hamburger menu button background colour - used for the icon in mobile or collapsed views.

Menu/button text colour - colour of navigation text.

Menu/button background colour - background of the navigation menu.

Menu/button text hover colour - text colour on hover.
-
Menu/button hover background colour - background colour on hover.
⚠️ Note: If your event doesn't use additional guest pages, you can skip this section.
Default Styling (When No Guest Theme Is Applied)
If no custom theme is applied at the category or sub-category level, the guest pages will inherit styling from the company theme.
To update your company’s default branding:

Go to Settings > Preferences > Edit Company Theme
