Introduction / Overview
There are several reasons you may need to edit guest details after an event has taken place, such as correcting a name or making updates for reporting purposes.
This guide outlines the three supported methods for editing guest information and explains when each one is most useful.
Recommended: The easiest and most direct way is using the Guest by Event report, where you can edit individual guest records directly.
Ways to Edit Guest Information
Option 1: Use the Guest by Event Report (Recommended)
This is the most straightforward way to locate and update individual guest records - especially useful when editing data in bulk or across multiple users.
Step 1:
Go to the Reports section and open the Guest by Event report.
Step 2:
Use filters to narrow the data- for example, filter by event or by date range (e.g. “Last 12 months”).
Step 3:
Locate the guest in the report. Click directly into their record to edit guest details.
Option 2: Edit via “My Requests”
Use this route if you want to update the guest list within a specific request - ideal if you know the request owner and which event it was for.
Step 1:
Go to the My Requests section.
Step 2:
Use the search bar to find the relevant user (request owner).
Step 3:
Click into the appropriate request and select Edit Guests.
Note: Requests are only visible in "My Requests" for up to 30 days after the event date. After this period, this method may no longer be available.
Option 3: Edit via the Event (if setting is enabled)
If your platform has the “Show users which other users have approved tickets for an event” setting enabled, you can access and edit guest data directly from the event.
Step 1:
Go to Manage Events.
Step 2:
Select the appropriate event category and toggle to view past events (e.g. last 12 months).
Step 3:
Click into the event and go to the Approved Requests section.
Step 4:
Select the relevant request and click Edit Guests.
