Sometimes there may be a need to display different guest fields depending on the ticket type for a single event. For example, you may require dietary information for hospitality guests or you may wish some guests to invite an additional guest or two.
The system allows you to deliver different registration form field sets in such scenarios.
The guest fields
Firstly, you will need to ensure that you have configured all the guest fields that you require in all scenarios. Master guest fields are configured at organisation level (Settings > Lists > Guest Registration Fields) and are then enabled on registration form at event level (View Event > Edit > Guest Fields tab).
Refer to the article Configuring guest fields for assistance.
Enabling the per ticket type configuraton
To enable different guest fields by ticket type from an event page select Edit Event > Guest Fields tab.
There is a filter called Ticket type configuration, which appears as follows:
If Apply fields to all ticket types is selected, the same registration fields will be shown to all guests regardless of the the type of ticket they are assigned.
If Different fields per ticket type is selected, then a drop down field appears which allows a ticket type to be selected. This drop down only displays active ticket types i.e. those ticket types for the venue which have allocations assigned (via Allocate Tickets on the Event screen).
You will need to select each active ticket type in turn and select which fields are to be Displayed (i.e. shown on the registration form) and which of those need to be marked as Mandatory.
When editing the guest fields, it is important to click Save at the foot of the screen to apply any changes.
