Overview
This guide explains the new right-hand slide-out panel in Guest Management, designed to make navigating and editing guest information faster, more intuitive, and more connected to the travel package management add-on module (if enabled).
Now when a guest name is clicked, instead of expanding the guest details downwards, guest data now appears in a slide-out right hand panel.
This redesign makes it easier to work with individual guests, enables more guest fields to be viewed at once and loads faster. Guest fields can still be edited by full/guest administrators in the right hand panel.
For admin users with access to the travel package inventory add-on module, the new panel now integrates, providing visibility of the hotels, flights and activities assigned to guests without having to leave the Guests tab.
Prerequisites:
Full Administrator or Guest Administrator users with access to Guest Management
For travel package inventory features, the platform and event must have Package Inventory enabled
Viewing and Editing Registration Fields
Guest fields are grouped in the Registration Fields section.
This section includes the following behaviour

Collapsible for easier navigation

All fields become editable
The Edit button is replaced with Update and Cancel at the bottom of the panel

Click Update to save
A success banner confirms your changes
Click Cancel to exit without making changes
You can close the slide-out panel using the X in the top right corner or by clicking outside it.
Viewing Travel Package Inventory
This section only applies to customers who have the Travel Package Management add-on module enabled.
With tighter integration between the Guests tab and the Package Inventory tabs, it is now much easier to understand the full context of a guest’s attendance, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
If the module is enabled and Package Inventory is enabled for the event (Event > Edit > Event Details), administrators can now:
See what items are assigned (hotel rooms, flights, transfers etc.) at a glance in an Assigned Inventory section
Jump into the Package Inventory tab and straight into Guest Summary view with one click
Edit registration details from either the Guests tab or the Package Inventory tab without switching tabs or screens
If Package Inventory is not enabled for an event, the panel simply displays the guest’s registration fields.
Auditing and Change Tracking
Field-level modifications made via Guest Management all appear in the Change Report, ensuring complete visibility into what was updated and by whom.
If you have any questions regarding this change, please refer to related guides or contact your Customer Success Manager.
