Purpose of custom cut-off times
When configuring guest registration for an event, administrators are able to specify a custom cut-off date. This is useful if you want to avoid late registrations or an event is at capacity and you need to stop registrations early.
Configuring custom cut-off times
The cut-off date and time are specified against each event. These two fields are accessed via Edit Event > Guest Management tab, in the Guest Pages section:
The default cut-off time for new events is midnight on the day of the event. To account for users in multiple time zones, cut-off times must always be specified in GMT.
If a guest attempts to register after the cut-off time, they will receive a message “Sorry, registration has closed for this event.” in their local language.
