General Settings
The General Settings section provides administrators with the ability to configure a variety of key resources on the platform. This includes enabling additional pages such as Dashboards & Event Calendars alongside deciding upon key configuration choices such as choosing the currency to be utilised throughout the site.

Edit company theme
- Edit the colour scheme, logos and background imagery that is applied to the site. You can find out more about styling across the platform from our "Applying master & guest branding" category on the Knowledge Base.

Enable dashboard
- Makes the dashboard visible to the user group specified. Can select to show to administrators only or administrators and approvers.

Enable welcome page
- Show a Welcome Page when users sign in. Commonly used to introduce the site to new users and show the latest updates. Content can be edited under Messages tab > Welcome Page Content.

Enable users to permanently dismiss welcome page
- If enabled, users will be able to permanently dismiss the Welcome Page. Enable this setting only if you want to use the Welcome Page as an introductory message to new users.

Enable terms & conditions page
- Enables a link to a Terms and Conditions page in the site footer. Content can be edited under Messages tab > Terms and Conditions Page Content.

Enable events calendar
- Enables the filterable Event Calendar and adds a link to the navigation bar. Visible to all user roles.

Show venues to users (always shows for admins)
- Enables the Venues option on the navigation for all user roles. Allows users to browse by venue.

Show extra page on main navigation (page editable via Messages tab)
- Enables custom content pages to be added to the navigation bar for all users. Pages can be created in Settings > Messages > 1st / 2nd / 3rd Extra Navigation Page.

Offer a file upload function with orders
- When enabled, users are presented with a file upload field when placing a ticket request. Used when documents or ID is required as part of the request process.

Show ‘new’ icon for events added in last 30 days
- Displays a ‘new’ icon next to events added within the previous 30 days to highlight them.

Currency
- Sets the primary currency within the system. This can be overridden at ticket type level.

Number of rows to show on category tiles
- The number of rows to show on the home page category tiles. This only applies if a tile shows upcoming events or recently added assets.

Help page navigation label
- Override the name of the Help page on the navigation bar.

Home page navigation label
- Override the name of the Home page on the navigation bar.

Name for requests
- Choose whether to refer to ticket/asset requests as Requests or Orders within the platform.
